  • South Grand Street Improvements: Full reconstruction with drainage, sidewalks, and curbs. ($3.9M)
  • Lee Avenue Improvements: Modernized from Jackson to Standifer. ($3.7M)
  • Desiard Street (Phases 1 & 2): Decorative paving, parking, drainage, and crosswalk enhancements. ($5.2M)

Sewer System Modernization

  • Strategic sewer infrastructure upgrades continue to protect public health, prevent overflows, and support future development.
  • WPCC Equalization Basin Dredging: Removed 57,000 cubic yards of sludge. ($2.8M)
  • Texas–Standifer Trunkline Repair: Replaced over 15,000 linear feet of failing pipeline. ($9.9M)
  • WPCC Basin Aeration System: Installed surface aerators to improve circulation and reduce sludge. ($730K)
  • UV Disinfection System Replacement: Boosted treatment effectiveness and operational efficiency. ($1.4M)
  • Texas Avenue Force Main Repairs: Major bypass and leak repair for 42” sewer main. ($750K)

Water System Upgrades

  • Woodside & Lakeside Water Line Projects: Replacing aging pipes to reduce blowouts and improve flow. ($442K combined)
